Privacy policy

This policy explains how MS Comp Services Inc ("MS Comp", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through mscompservicesinc.com. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, website and project details. We use them only to reply to you and prepare a quote.
• Phone and email: if you call or email us, we keep the details needed to respond and to provide our services.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 records how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser, and how you arrived. It does not tell us who you are.
• Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person. It processes technical data such as your IP address and browser signals.

Cookies and consent

Google Analytics uses cookies. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and analytics cookies are only set if they accept. Elsewhere, analytics runs by default; you can block it with your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). We do not use advertising cookies on this site. If we add advertising tools such as the Google Ads tag or Meta Pixel, we will update this policy first.

How we use information

We use personal information to answer enquiries, provide and invoice our services, improve the website, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We send marketing emails only with your consent, and every email includes an unsubscribe link, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business and this website, under their own privacy commitments: our web host (Namecheap), Google (Analytics, Workspace or email services), Cloudflare (Turnstile) and Prismic (content management). Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to two years, or longer if you become a client and the records are needed for accounting and legal purposes. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing contact@mscompservicesinc.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
